Little Brother, Back in Action!

The earliest thermal typewriter in my collection, the Brother EP-20 from the early 1980's.

Yes, the print really is that faint. The print head could likely use a cleaning.


The LCD still works well, complete with a functioning darkness dial (not pictured).

Typewriter or calculator? Both. It does have a calculator function!

I should add that I am using a multi-strike ribbon as opposed to the correctable ribbon. It's harder to find, but worth the search. Not only do you get more usage out of the ribbon, but it also gives a lighter, less crisp look to the output. Throw in some poorly-covered typos and people will never realize you're using an electronic typewriter. You can thank me later.
