I should add that I am using a multi-strike ribbon as opposed to the correctable ribbon. It's harder to find, but worth the search. Not only do you get more usage out of the ribbon, but it also gives a lighter, less crisp look to the output. Throw in some poorly-covered typos and people will never realize you're using an electronic typewriter. You can thank me later.

Blog Reboot: Typing at Typewriter Muse

Image
Interior view of my typing space at  Typewriter Muse  in Riverside, California. Strange seeing myself on the TV on the wall in an old  Typewriter Club LIVE  video. One of my favorite typewriters, a 1967 Olympia Splendid 33. A much-needed snack to keep away the coffee jitters. Left: 1967 Olympia Splendid 33; right: 1969 Hermes Rocket. My older Rocket is in the back room being serviced. Done with the blog post! The older Hermes Rocket, fresh and clean, with new rubber feet! Thanks to Bob and the talented gang at Typewriter Muse.
